Here's another beautiful editorial submission as seen in our current Toronto edition. This 'Pretty in Pink' feature was a joint collaboration by a group of vendors under the principal direction of one of the *most* talented women I know... Miss Melissa Samborski of One Fine Day Event Planning + Design. Melissa has produced several features for us in the past and I'm always awe-struck at her attention to detail. I barely need to communicate a vision - she just 'gets it' each and every single time. The beautiful photos were taken at the Estates of Sunnybrook by Corina at Corina V Photography: another fabulous lady with a talent behind the lens who is also a graphic designer to boot! Without further ado...

This ornate polished lucite box contains an uber-luxe hand-crafted invitation folio created from Thai silk. 
It’s tied with a satin belt and adorned with a hand-stitched chiffon and Swarovski crystal flower.

A pop of colour in the form of accessories is one of our favourite wedding trends! Specifically, we’re swooning over these pink suede peep-toes and crystal encrusted clutch. Heels by Casadei, $990. Available at Vera Wang Toronto.

~ dramatic design ~
This beautiful table provides drama with a spectacular centrepiece that is a flowering architectural feat! 
Spheres of blooms hang effortlessly in mid air with ribbony garlands of dendrobium orchids.

Last but not least, I adore the incredible cake from this feature by Patricia Drewnowska of Patricia's Cakes.
This confection is both stunning and sweet with a cascade of blush-colouredsugar roses and other life-like candied blooms. 
Double-vanilla cake layered with blackcurrant Italian meringue buttercream and chocolate ganache covered in vanilla fondant and painted with luster dust. DIVINE! 

Patricia also designed the adorable meringue treats!

Featuring...Pantone Color Spa

Think destination wedding...soft and subtle this color is beautiful when paired with white and pewter.  A ceremony by the sea or in northern ontario this color keeps the day light and fresh looking.
